The special architecture of this country residence corresponds to a simplified scheme of an Western villa, Palladian type. We can identify in Maxut’s case, on a smaller scale, areas with specific architectural typologies of the era: the court of honor, the hoch ground, equivalent with piano noble, loggia and the surrounding park.
Maxut is the exponent of a modernized vision about the country life. The final goal is outlined in creating a pleasant and confortable ambiance, inspired from Biedermeier civilization created in the first part of the XIX century in the Austrian-German area, familiar to the Moldavian nobility. The privacy character of the house is given by the relative small mansion size, the proportion of the chambers and the planimetry of the spatial arrangement around the laminator saloon.
